I have just spent the last 9 weeks trying to get wanadoo to give me a speed upgrade from 1meg to 2meg and kept getting put off. Eventually i asked to terminate my contract and requested my MAC key. Then whilst waiting for my MAC key i receive an email telling me my upgrade has gone through (nice coincidence), however 5 days later no MAC key. After a lengthy phone call to wanadoo a MAC key was in my inbox within an hour. Unfortunately i cannot sign up to another ISP because of this order on my line. To put it mildly i am furious. I am stuck using an ISP that doesnt seem to care about its customers (In fact it seems they went out of their way to annoy me), when i should be nicely signed up with someone who does look after their customers. Wanadoo will be getting a lengthy letter of complaint from me, along with a request that they re-imburse me for the cost of the numerous phone calls made
to try and resolve the issues.

I have split your post from the topic you replied to as it is a separate issue and it may not get seen by others...

If you send a letter of complaint, I would suggest send it to Wanadoo's head office in Leeds, and get a signature for it (that way you know they've received it!) - it is a little more expensive, but will be worth it to know that someone has actually read it (or do they read their letters???!!!).

Isn't there head office in St Albans in Hertfordshire?

Also, I would like to add an agreement to the original post; from my experience with Wanadoo today the only conclusion I could come to was that the girl I spoke to was trying to annoy me, it was like she was having some sort of competition with her friends to see who could get away with being the rudest and most unhelpful to customers

Well im now in the middle of my migration:), hopefully it will all go through okay. I keep expecting wanadoo to do something to cock it up though.

Fingers crossed it wont happen, but if you prepare for the worst then anything else is a bonus Smile
