Anyone else experiencing a complete loss of connectivity since 9.20am this morning? I contemplated ringing Orange to enquire as to the problem (since the status page is wholly and consistently misleading) but then figured that would involve digging out the USB modem, installing the software, arguing with a misinformed teenager after waiting on hold for 15 minutes... well you know how much fun that is.
sounds like the start of a long long stressful road here,
mine went down (after 3 months usage on 8Meg even though Orange only migrated me to the Orange network on 31-09-06) on 11-09-06 and after 9 weeks of arguing,complaining,replacement liveboxes being ordered then being told they were not ordered after a week (this happened 3 times) I finally got re-connected on 02-11-06.
the best thing to do to avoid all the crap is to demand removal of the LLU and be put back on IP streaming, it takes a week but that is what finally got me back on.
after 9 weeks still have no voip line and back down to 1.1Mb, I am probably going to get off Orange.
believe me they will lie to you when you ring up and just mess you around.
don't expect to be back on anytime soon.
