After my own experience with Orange i see the posts here with all your problems i had been with this excuse for an ISP since the Freeserve days and was also dubious about changing ISP's because of the inconvenience but after months of being taken for a complete fool by Orange i decided to leave i found a good ISP and the migration should have gone smooth until Orange made it difficult for me to leave by with holding my LLU MAC code untill i complained to the ISPA link courtesy of this site i got my MAC and said bye bye to Orange and after all the problems they (Orange ) said i had with my line it was all lies since i changed ISP's my connection has been faultless if you aint getting the service you subscribe to in or out of contract don't put up with it contracts work both ways if they are not fulfilling their side leave if they threaten court let them they have not a leg to stand on if you let them get away with it they will continue to take you for a ride.
"Unlimited" IS NOT UNLIMITED a fair user policy applies check the small print before you sign up to these crooks.

Orange are like any other big company, they have their problems. You will find similar complaints about any isp. They are have their good points and their bad but you don't see websites being set up to say how good they are.

Then i can say what i like about a BIG company that owe ME money for their service that i never got or their untrained staff that read from scripts if your happy with them fine but dont question me about a BIG company that owe ME money and tried to make it impossible for me to leave because i wasnt still in a contract please dont waste my time just remember not EVERYONE are pleased with Orange check out the other forums. let me know when you find a Pro-Orange site.

All call centre staff read from a script, that is what they are trained and told to do. I don't find any pro isp sites. I'm sure there are avenues for you to pursue the money you say you are owed.

Thats my point i found a better ISP that DONT have a call centre and support is FREE and EXPERIENCED perhaps you have only experienced call centres but thats not my problem my problem is getting whats owed to me off Orange after all they have a contract and i expect them to keep to it like they expect customers to keep to it contracts work BOTH ways so excuse me if i speak my mind i will continue to do so till i get what they owe me so as its not your concern and you can't get whats owed to me from such a BIG company enjoy your broadband.

Ok fair enough your ok what about the thousands that ain't? sounds like "im alright jack" dont knock the customers that aint getting the service they pay for.
If your support calls to Orange support are free why isn't anyone elses why are they paying for calling premium numbers? Why don't so called tech support know what a router is? why is such a BIG company with holding what im owed? why are most people getting spam emails and banned from most main ISP servers? why are they advertising "Unlimited" broadband when it clearly isnt "unlimited" and moat of all why are you defending such a dire company and crooks as Orange hmm lol i wonder? I don't give two hoots .

Not i'm alright jack at all. try using saynoto0870 to get a geographical number landline.
All isp's have their faults and problems. orange are no different and need to sort out the things that are wrong. But British Gas, halifax,etc are all the same.

British Gas dont owe me money or tried to stop me goin elsewhere Orange DID they owe me money and i will get it obviously you aint bothered which is understandable because it aint you thats owed it but dont question me when i post about it i have used sayno number but the numbers are soon changed or they say call another number which is a premium one.
Now i aint concerned with this because i will post until i get what im owed like on all the other forums Orange has a bad name so im among thousands so really i aint bothered about your comments Glen this site as you said is ORANGEPROBLEMS i have a problem with Orange FULL STOP

I agree that nothing is perfect and all have their problems, trouble with Orange is the volume of problems ! and their ineptitude and incompetence in producing solutions to the paying publics problems !

Hmmm, you don't see websites set up to show how bad they are either, it must then logicaly be that Orange are the worst !

I agree most help desk are the same, if it's not a mundane problem that exist in their script they are stuffed. The problem with Orange is that its a problem with their equipment in some exchanges but they want to blame your line, modem, pc and anything else they can rather then admit its their fault. I'd like to know what package youre on Glen as once again it seems you may have a good deal whilst Orange rips everyone else off.
