Myself and my partner have used wanadoo for over a year paying them £27 per month by direct debit when out of the blue we suddenly found ourselves DISCONNECTED!!!
After a long and completely USELESS call to there premium rate non helpful customer services we were told we had been cut off due to non payment!!! APPARENTLY they said we had not paid them for months and owed them almost £200!!!!!!!!!
After much deliberation they agreed it was an error and re connected us only to then the month later send us the same information.
At this point we told them we would be cancelling and going elswhere, this is when they informed us we could not leave wanadoo until the bill was paid and that they were also going to place a bar on our line to stop us going with another internet provider. We sent them copies of our bank statements to which they claimed thay had not recieved and still we can get no joy from them thay are ADAMANT that we did not pay so now we are stuck with no internet and a huge bill that they say we owe......?????
Wanadoo are absolutely awful in all aspects they are over priced under staffed and seemingly without common courtesy!!! I would appreciate knowing if anyone else has had this problem???
Contact the ISPA I have about them refusing to give me a second MAC when OFCOM said they should issue one before the 30 days are up. Received an email from Wanadoo they have recieved my complaint from the ISPA and are looking into it, probably with shock that someone has complained to the ISPA about them they will respond to it asap well in 6 days I will be phoning for a new MAC anyway as the 30 days are up.
