When this happens all i do is disconnect the ethernet cable on the livebox side and quickly re-connect it and then i am back on the net.
Anyone have an idea why, i really dont want to phone Orange up again and waste more money on a half hour call.

It shows connected which is part of the problem, i have no way of seeing when i get disconnected. When i do get the explorer page saying internet connection might be down all i do is reconnect the ethernt cable on the livebox and i am back on. Its getting annoying now as its happening alot.

Elhana, i have a 330 speedtouch that works with the problems that came using that modem. It is happening every half hour nearly and all i do is reconnect the ethernet cable and whooosh, im back on.
No idea as to why.
Hayesboy the easiest way to check this would probably be to try and borrow an ethernet modem/router and see if the same happens as you need to find out it it's the livebox or the PC which has the problem.
