I have been with this isp since freeserve days with no problems untill Orange changed my line to llu. after 12 weeks of no broadband, lies and false promises from Orange ts & cs. I cancelled my account, i am now free from this cowboy & indian outfit. my advice is if you are having problems with Orange and are near the end or out your min contract period cancel and move to a real isp
i have been with BT now for 3 days. exelent speed no drop outs.
just proves that Orange's llu upgrades are the problem.
if you are having problems with your conection dont waste your time with Orange's ts & cs. they just lie to you
just cancel your account move to a real isp. and freeeeeeeeeeee your self from Orange's llu hell

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT IF YOU CHANGE ISP
How long did it take from cancelling to be up and running with BT?
Did you not have to wait 10 days for your LLU marker to be removed from your line?
Im freeeeeeeeeeee from Orange
I managed to get a MAC code from them and found a isp that accepted a LLU MAC code. After a one and a half weeks from registering with the new isp im up and running with no break of service and much better speeds.
Now the future is definatley bright, but its not Orange
I migrated to ZEN.Iv only been with them a few days but can see a instant speed increase,so using the internet has become a good experience once again.Acording to the BT speed checker im getting 5.5meg downoads,it was 2.3meg with Orange.

Zen is a good choice similar with me with IDNet instant speed increase from average 2.5Mb with Orange to between average of 5 and 6.5Mb which u will probably get more off peak.

Sounds like we all have been watching Braveheart
Freedom is such a lovely word.
I had a look through all the reports on www.dslzone.co.uk and considered Entanet, IDNet and Newnet but plumped for Xyfos.
They all had good reports.
Now waiting impatiently to get my connection back.
By the way, anyone any idea why on my home dial-up certain web pages are "not available" but other are? Never had this when broadband was on.
Seems like some settings have screwed up. Tried setting IE back to default but no luck.
Can't login to Hotmail or my work's webmail but I can still VPN in.

The marker on my line has been removed with effect from 07:45 today, Tuesday, 3rd October 2006.
I AM FREE.....................
Must now wait for Xifos to get me connected again.
Does anyone know why it is not possible to transfer from an LLU connection to any ISP? It seems that if you are with an LLU provider your line has to go back to BT before it can be handed over again, unless you go to one of the few other ISP's who accept LLU codes.
It strikes me that this is just another excuse for BT to make money out of people. It is high time that OFCOM started to look after our interests.

Ive no idea but i used an LLU MAC that IDNet accepted and it wasn't a trouble free migration took 12 days and only thru IDNets persistance i know Zen accept them perhaps LLU ones are more trouble than its worth at the moment.
Good luck with Xifos excellent choice
Regards
