How long is reasonable from when a dead line is reported to Orange until it is repaired.
I have an Orange phone line that went dead around 23:00 on 18th Sept 2013, it was reported 08:30 on the 19th and is still dead.
Orange tell me they have cascaded the fault to BT but how long do these things take ?
Orange say they have no update (or even response) from BT yet.
and two hours after posrting this BT turn up and track a fault to their exchange. The fault occured around 23:00 and according to the "man" it would be unsual for anyone to be in there at night.
The bonus is my speeds gone from 6.5 to over 12 mbps on fixing.
I had a fault around a year ago that also got fixed very quickly after posting here. What a strange coincedence someone less cynical than me may suppose. :

Well you guys have had it lucky 3 weeks ago our dead line was reported the first time and now 3 repair ref numbers later we are still waiting. As there is a medical alert alarm on the line you would expect better service than this.
