These 2 results appear to be the best of the lot so if I were you i would dump the iPlate.
Next we need to identify why the SNRM is at 15dB so you need to use the test socket for an extended period say 5 days and monitor what happens to the SNRM several times each day.

Hi.
Have been on to the Orange helpdesk they have done tests at their end and have asked me to change cables and filters AGAIN, and done a line test, seems my router is F****d, they are sending me a new on, should receive it by wed next week.
The one i have at the moment keeps re-setting itself every 10mins so loss of broadband connection. As i said in earlier posts the livebox kept re-setting whenever i received a phone call, and then started re-setting whenever i made an outgoing call, now like i said before every 10mins.
So hope it will all clear up once i get the new router.
i will get back to you once the new router is installed.
Thanks again.
I might be wrong but I would bet an indecent amount of money it's not the router.
I'm sorry now that I didn't read all the thread as I came into it late but if I'd realised you'd had incoming/outgoing PSTN problems then I'd have said it's an interoperability fault....the voice side is causing failures on the broadband side.....i.e. a line or exchange fault that is very difficult to pinpoint.
But as I say I may well be wrong....you'll soon find out when the new router is hooked up.
Hi.
I will wait and see what happens when the new router arrives, if no positive result then I will get back on to them.
Can you explain in more detail about what you said in your reply?, just so if I need to get onto them i can explain the problem that is causing the fault..
As you may have read, this only came to light when the line at the exchange was upgraded around 6 weeks ago.
Thanks for the reply ( I have a feeling that you may be right)..........
Well i have had no luck at all with Orange.
First of all my broadband went off alltogether, so could not report back as soon as i wanted to.
Broadband has been off for around 4 days, phoned the help desk, they did a line test and said there was a problem with the line, and that they would escalate it to a priority fault and get it sorted asap.
while this was going on my supposed new LiveBox arrived, only it was not a LiveBox as they said it would be, but a Netgear N150 AGAIN.!!
Sent this back as it's basically C**p,
Aslo received a LiveBox Power cable???, they said sorry to hear you are having problems with your LiveBox, this Power adapter should solve the issue? Power surge?. i have had no problems with power surges.
As for the speed this has settled over the last few day's and has only reached the figures (see below)....
What to do now, i don't know????
I don't think they know their A**e from their elbow.
Any idea's where to go from here?, who to contact to get things sorted?.

Until that reduces to the norm you will not see an increase in connection speed.
As advised earlier, dump the iPlate and use the test socket with filter phone and router plugged in, that will give you the best connection until the line/exchange is sorted.
Dumpted the iPlate as you said and used the router and phone in the test socket for a few days now still no change

Been on to Orange again, now they say there is nothing they can do!!!
