I had no problems connecting to braodband with Orange apart from the fact that I had to call them initially to get connected (via ethernet) because no information exists in the live box pack for MAC users.
My problem is that I can no longer connect to the itunes music store through itunes? anyone have any ideas similar problems etc?
I had this problem the other day, i phoned up Orange the other day and they wouldnt speak to me because im not the account holder even though i could answer all the security quesions (the account holder is away) so i decided to try and fix the problem myself. I restored the livebox using the restoration cd in the box and its been fine since. iTunes wouldnt work through a windows computer connected via ethenet either.

They probably ought to have given some basic help and advice but it is against the law for them to provide any details of the account to someone who isn't authorised. Saying that you have authorisation or having the security details just isn't enough.
Could have been a coincidence recovering fixed it but more likely being disconnect that long gave you an uneffected IP address when it reconnected.
