Ok my dad went in to Orange store saw what we was paying with BT and without any mention to me he signed up.
Now when i ring up it says the account is in my name MINE! but i have never been in to get broadband so i rang up to cancel It. as my connection was suffering bad from 600kbs with BT!. to jumping around with packet loss and speeds as low as 34ks now it looks like packet loss is not in there GUIDE!.
This is what was said in a phone call with them i asked So if i can get on the internet even if it is not usable and your engineers say its fine i am still in my contract She Replayed YES! i asked So even if i don't like the service i am getting and i know its WRONG! you still get to decide she reply's YES!
Well even if the Engineers think its Wrong there still going to say its right so i still have to pay. so i asked Is there any way to get out without paying 149 pound she said there is no way out.
This is what i will do and i will tell you the out come. i am going to go in to store get them to pull up my details and then get the copy of the documents my dad signed. and say look your mistake i don't want it now cancel it contract is VOID.
I think your disagreement is more with your Dad rather than with 0range.
Why did he put you down as account holder and whose bank account is being charged ?
I have to ask the question, if the 0range connection was better than BT's would you have posted on here, complaining that your Dad had put you down as the account holder and asking how to cancel the contract ?
My dad did the sign up in his name not mine his signature is on the paper work not mine. but the account is in my name if my dad rung up tryed to change something they would tell him to speak to me.
