After reading through some of the forum posts here I'm non the wiser.
please allow me to tell you about my problem, perhaps in the vain hope someone has had this problem and fixed it.
A few weeks ago my girlfriends Orange mobile broadband dropped out.. it hasn't been back since.
She is running with a HauaweiE1752 modem, as soon as you connect the device it brings up the "connect to internet everywhere" connection box, it searches for the mobile network and states that it is "Ready to connect to Mobile Braodband" which is all good, until you try to connect.
As soon as you click the connect Icon, the green bar moves across the screen until it gets to "negotiating connection", once there it drops out saying "unable to connect" and goes back to the standby state of "Ready to connect to mobile braodband" as you can imagine this is very frustrating.
has anyone had any problems of the like?.. and if so how exactly were they fixed?
A little bit about my girlfriends comp.
Toshiba laptop given free when signing up for an Orange broadband connetion.
running windows 7,
Running kaspersky Internet Security,
As you can imagine the comp's hardware specifications are adequate, as the internet connection was fine on it since a couple of weeks ago.
Of course I have tried this while disabling the Kaspersky internet security and still the same result.
Indeed I've tried with no internet security at all, including the windows firewall etc..
Any questions of a technical nature please feel free to ask.
If your girlfriend can contact me via customer.services@orange.co.uk, including her contact details and your username from this site, I will give her a call to discuss.
So I can pick up your mail quickly, please add 'Jonathan Orange Response' in the first line.
