At last I'm able to log into my e-mail account but for how long? It seems obvious to me that they are ongoing problems with Orange and the MAIN point in my post is that I was misguided and lied to by Orange staff again, anyway got my MAC and switching today.
I've spent hours on the phone to them recently with their ongoing email problems. Not been able to use Outlook at all recently (no emails received) and then they locked me out of the Orange website so I couldn't get to them that way either ("invalid password" ... rubbish!).
I'm sick to the back teeth of being told "I'm the only one with email problems" and dealing with idiots who won't admit to server/incompatability problems their end. They've even told me it's nothing to do with them, but a problem with Microsoft and to get an independent technician out!
Well, that's it, life is complicated enough without dealing with this incompetent lot ... I'm requesting my MAC code tomorrow and I'm off ASAP. If we all take the same action, they MIGHT actually have to get their act together (eventually) ...
maybe if enough of us complain they will look into. Ofcom policy is not to investigate individual complaints only class actions. I have put mine in. The whole practice of forcing to dial a premium number for something which could be communciate on the website or at start of phone call is shark practice.
Are most people stupid or is it just me that sees all this as tactics to get you complaining people to phone. Have you any idea how much these companies make from incoming calls. I bet you people that call also phone x factor, I'm a celebrity and the rest of those stupid ITV so called competition phone lottery scams. Trading standards need to get a grip and bring back good old British decent customer service but with the whole of this country desperate to become Americanised it's now lost to the new generation. Email is free tel calls are not. Close your accounts & move to another company & then Orange will change their name to something else and it all goes around again. I remember when they were called Hutchinson Telecom, just as ruthless and bad then.
