Hello, I've been searching everywhere all day for an answer but nothing. Just wondered has anyone out there setup Orange email on a Touch. I complete all relavent fields but get error 'Incorrect User Name or Password'. I need to do this as just getting into Orange email website is a pain and Im slowly weeding off Orange email to my gmail. What fields need what as Orange seem to nothing but confuse their customers with countless passwords and then having to enter your mobile as extra security. Am I missing some setting that is logical.
Thought I'd reply to my own post to help others. I can now download emails instantly to my iPod Touch from my Orange email account after weeks of stress trying to do this. Can I point out I've worked this out for myself because there is no help what so ever from the Orange site.
1. Don't think logically
2. Got to settings
3. Email
4. Add account
5. Put in your email address as user name
6. Put in your account password
7. Save and let the Touch download your settings
8. Ignore the warning that password or username are incorrect
9. Come out of setting and boot up your email app
10. You will see your Orange email address
11. Try & download your mail, it will respond with error
12. Close email app & go back into settings
13. Choose your Orange email account
14. Where it says user name click in field
15. Enter your mobile tel number
16. Come out of settings & boot up email app
17. You will now see your mobile number as account name
18. Click this & hey presto your messages will download
