Ok, I've done the whole procedure and I am really tired of this now.
I have an 8meg unlimited package.
Spent £££££ on phone calls to tech team, put new cables in, an engineer has been to the house, and my line can handle 7MEG
I can't log in to speedtester.BT.com, but all the other speedtester sites are giving me 0.5 meg download, 0.37 upload.
I have been sent a new livebox, and my speed is the same.
well looking at that. Were you ipstram before or haveyou always been on a llu network if you know, cause you should'nt be on interleave that's part of your problem but if your saying you an't log in speedtester.BT then your on Orange's own network gear from the exchange.
Have you had any disconnecting problems lately or not, cause if you have then the dslam in the exchange will change your profile if there's a been a fault on the line, you will prob have to wait 3-5 day's with out any dissconecting for it to increase.

Thanks,
I don't know which network, how do I find out.
I was disconnected a few times.
I will wait to see if the speed comes up in 3-5 days
as you say,you can't log into the speedtester.BT,does it just say there's an erorr on the test,if so then you are most def that your on Orange's LLU network but that interleave is the problem!!!!

I am sitting with a slow speed, no second phone line which I am paying for, and my line has been tested and can handle "7 MEG" and I have a new livebox, which makes no difference, and all these phone calls to India was a waste of time, I am not happy.
Have you got the livebox plugged into the master socket
has your BT master socket got a lower half that comes apart if so take it off and plug the router into that and se what your stats say then!!!
Yes they phoned me when I was driving and said they would call back, nothing yet.
Everything is the same as when I was getting good speeds, nothing has changed on my side and the engineer checked my BT socket and 7 meg.
just done a speed test again 0.38 download, 0.25 up.
