I use Orange broadband and have an email account.
I am secretary of a cricket club and have been attempting to send group emails to members. There are 40-50 members. Every time I send most are returned with message 'failed to send' or words to that effect. The only way I am able to send is to split the group into smaller groups (15 or less) and send Three or four times. Is there a limit to number of addresses you can send emails to in a group? If so is there anything I can do to alleviate this very annoying and inconvenient problem? There must be many people in the same boat! Do they all have the same problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, I also have this problem - does anyone have any solutions? I saw the response from Orange, so I thought I would just send them an email like they recommended, but it was a waste of time. They initially replied asking if I was using a mobile. I answered that and I haven't heard from them since. I sent a reminder a few days ago but again: no reply. It's been over a week now.
I'm using Outlook Express on XP and get a message back which includes the phrase "Too many recipients", though like the original poster my list is less than 40 and used to work OK. Other emails go through fine. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Quick update in case anyone has a similar problem. Just had a call from Orange (shows willing I suppose, despite the delay) and was told that Orange impose a limit on the number of recipients of an email, and that number is 20. In fact I miscalculated the numbers in my previous post & it looks like my distribution list must have only just gone over the 20 name limit when I hit the problem. He said it was not possible to get the limit raised, which seems pretty ridiculous to me. Apparently anything above 20 is regarded as spam. He suggested sending emails to my fellow tennis club members in two goes, each with about a dozen names on. Great service, Orange.
I have been having this problem for over a year. Orange tell me to try in 21 days but nothing works. One of my mailing lists has 13 members yet I still cannot use this facility. I have emailed Orange again today-watch this space!!
