I used to be an old wanadoo user and now with Orange since the changeover.
Presume new Orange users will have email address in the form of: @orange.co.uk i guess?
Orange dont allow you to change it. The only way to do it would be to set up a new account, cancelling your existing one and tying yourself into a new contract.
Alternatively keeping your existing contract, you could set up an Orange pay as you go account which you would need to dial into every 219 days to keep active.
If you're not particularly worried by having an Orange email address, another way is to register your own domain (usually around £10 for 2 years) you can set up anythingyoulike@yourdomain.me.uk It needn't be hosted or have a website, just redirect the mail to whereever your current email is with. It's yours and will move from ISP to ISP with no difficulties.
