Ok thanks, I will keep an eye on it. This morning's stats compared to last night's seem to support the congestion theory. My line is still stabilising so I wont know my maximum speed for another 9 days or so.
Orange may be referring that you have not been LLU'd. In which case you are still using BT's equipment. In which case you will not have services such as access to Orange's second line on your livebox. I am unclear though, how they are able to take control of your main BT line.
They don't "Take Control" of the BT Line, they have their own equipment in the exchange, which is the LLU equipment, and that connects to the phoneline just the same as BT equipment would, the line its self IS still BT's.
