About Orange **** speeds.

Annoying thing is, i switch my comp on in the evening or at the start of a day, and for the first few hours, the connection is rapid.

After that, it lags, it disconnects then reconeects about once an hour, and just generally pisses me off.

Saying that, im probably not going to get much better for £10 a month.

Well, like everybody else who uses Orange, you do have the choice of moving to a real ISP who can provide fast and reliable speeds.
There are plenty around including the fantastic o2 (now Sky) and also Idnet to name a couple.
I use o2 (now Sky) at £7.50 a month, as I am a mobile customer, and it is fast, reliable, perfect for gaming 24/7 and never drops.

They also speak in English and genuinely want to help when you ring them.

So why don't you put that fantastic connection of yours to doing something creative ?

Its a pity o2 (now Sky) spam you to death on the mobile phone you use to sign up with, even when its not one of theirs. It would be nice if they had an option that said, I don't have an o2 (now Sky) mobile, I don't want one, I don't have the first interest in giving you my mobile number, just charge me the full price.

Orange on the other hand, where their mobile half haven't a clue what their broadband half is up to, is completely devoid of irritating text messages. Laughing

I just rerouted the full force of our schools internet demands onto our o2 (now Sky) connection.I wonder how long they will tolerate the 150 GB a month ?

I've never had 1 spam text message from o2 (now Sky) in my life, on my mobile or email.
Obviously your experience is unique to you.

Perhaps you should vent your anger and frustrations toward o2 (now Sky) who are bothering you.

Your long gone Orange problems are clearly unique to you. Can you even remember what they were ?

Maybe I should start a 3 year vendetta against O2s spam. ?
I'm currently responsible for 5 ADSL connections in 3 locations all with different companies (2 of them I pay for myself). o2 (now Sky) is the newest (6 weeks) and so far zero problems, Oh wait, all of the connections have had a proportionate number of problems to the time I've been with them........
