Orange spam filters are useless the only way is if he gets a new email account elsewhere, ide recommend Googlemail its free and it can be pop enabled so you can use it in Outlook Express as usual, their spam filters are excellent.
Its a pain changing email addresses but its quicker than trying to stop the spam with and Orange/Wanadoo or Freeserve address.

Yeah I get loads of these as well as does my wife anybody know how somebody can apparently hijack your email address?
Still get 250- 300 spams a day as well, at least it makes me feel wanted!!!
These days its not difficult to spoof a 'from' address.
What you can do is log into Orange mail via the web and via the settings add your address as a blocked address, having it delete the message right away before it is downloaded into your inbox.
Doing this though, you would not be able to send e-mails to addresses on that account.
