From what info I've been able to get the problem is with 0range's internal infrastructure but you are right of course - why should they make it a priority to fix a problem which mainly affects people you pay other ISP's for Internet access and only pay 0range once every 260 days when they dial in to prevent their otherwise free email accounts from being closed down?
Yes thanks for that Masqueraid, I didn't realise you could access pop3 emails from a web-based email.
As for Orange, we keep our email addresses active by having to log on to the dial-up account every few months and thus are paying a few pennies for it, and if you add up all the people doing this it may well be worth Orange still allowing access to their email. Plus if I have an outage on my ISP I use the Orange dial-up account to keep in touch with the situation,
Anyways thanks again Masqueraid for the customer service.
Tempest - I've accessed my emails by signing in from the Orange home page, haven't had 2 use dial up at all so they've had zilch from me since I moved 2 o2 (now Sky) a year or so ago.
