Not sure if any one already posted this but i thought i'd share.
On any pop client your username before the upgrade was your phone number it now appears to be your <phone number>@orange.net.
I made this change and all my mail came in.
I think someone already posted that this is also the case on the web interface, not that its work reliably for me.
Thanks again to Orange for another job well done!!!! for a communications company they sure suck at doing that very job. After all they have every ones email address so they could have sent any email out explain the changes.
Can you send with your POP setup? Since the changes to Orange.net, I can still retrieve my email ok to pop.orange.net (I was already using <number@orange.net> yet I can't send anything again. My outgoing settings are smtp.orange.net (with <number@orange.net>) as before which was working until Thursday!
i still cant get at my Orange email whether it be on the net or via pop3 .i rung Orange and they said wait till tomorrow ...i am looking forward to about 2000 emails plus the usual spam ..anyone else still having problems ?
Yes still the same problem here - Though I can access Webmail cannot download from my email client ( It thinks there are no emails there ) Luckily I have my own domain so have just re-directed my account to another email address as a temporary measure.

* This is just Rubbish - Orange *
just fixed it i found out by luck that Orange web based email had changed address and no one at Orange bothered to tell me and the pop3 settings they had changed my user name to mobilenumber@orange.net now its all fixed
THANKS FOR LETTING ME FIND OUT FOR MYSELF Orange
I haven't been able to access my emails via the web since Thursday ... And I have some message rules set up which means that some of them don't download to Outlook Express.
I have a @freeserve.co.uk address, and don't use the mobile. I also have a @fsmail.net address and that seems to be unaffected.
I think I will wait a few days before I give Orange some of my hard-earned cash via the phone lines. Darned if I want to spend Three hours on the phone to be told to switch it off and on again, or "unplug your router and plug in the original dial up box" ... I know it's not MY problem. It's f@3%ing Orange.
