Basically, we have the most basic Orange broadband package (Home Starter?) that came with my wifes mobile phone. This works well (as well as 2Mb will ever!) with the speedtouch modem supplied.
We got a laptop recently and I am trying to get it to work wirelessly. I bought an livebox from ebay in the hope that it would be compatible. I can see and connect to the livebox from the laptop, but can't surf, so have a few questions:
1) In theory, should the Livebox work with the broadband package?
2) The Livebox didn't come with the install CD - can I download this anywhere, or are the instructions on the Orange site ok?
3) Unfortunately the Livebox didn't have the filter either so should I be able to just use the existing speedtouch filter?
4) If I need a Livebox filter, where can I get one? Orange themselves are no help, and the website only has the speedtouch ones to buy
