Every time I turn my computer off, I have to re-install the livebox CD as the internet connection is lost. Any ideas as to what might cause this?

Are you using a livebox or a USB modem?

If you're using a livebox, then no CD is reqd. What happens when you navigate to the address of the livebox

I'm using a livebox. It's fine when I navigate to livebox.
I've rang them this evening and firstly got a woman who couldn't understand me (funny as I don't have any particularly strong accent) and then the 2nd guy hung up on me after about ten minutes.
I then rang cancellations and they put me through to a guy with no communication impairments and he believes it's a faulty red wire. Watch this space, we shall see.....
