I am paying for broadband Livebox-7710 and I AM NOT getting broadband connection. Everytime somebody rings, no matter if we pick the phone up or not, the internet DISCONNECTS and thewfore I am very annoyed.
I sholud get what I pay for right? YES! Help me out here!

It has NEVER not done this, ever since I installed it it has done this. (Except on very rare occasions)
When Wannadoo were my ISP they were exeptional! (This is my older wired connection(Speedtouch 300 modem)) And the very day Orange bought them out... The Broadband stopped working! (I think that this shows that Orange aren't very good as an ISP. (No offence)
For 4-6 weeks me and a friend have had the same problem of DSL errors, on both our PS3's AND our Laptops/desktops! This occurs once every 1-2 weeks and we cannot connect to the internet from anything!
PLEASE HELP! I am in desperate need to get broadband working!
P.S. I am fairly sure that everything is filtered, the one thing I thought of was Sky satelite. It is cabled up INSIDE of the phone box/line. I do not know if this is a problem. (It was not when I had Wannadoo(Same setup(old connection, and I left it as the same setup after Orange took over)))

Filters can be faulty - I had to replace one at one stage - so it's worth checking that first. Disconnect everything bar one phone and the Livebox and swap in the filters you now have free with those currently filtering the phone and Livebox. Be methodical and try every option. If that doesn't solve the problem it maybe something more serious.

Also ensure that the livebox has only ONE filter between it and the BT linebox....see this >>>>
That was my setup. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG! Wgat is it? Is it oerhaps that Orange CANNOT host broadband?!

The filters are brand new.

Can you explain what you mean by this....."cabled up inside of the phone box/line". Do you mean the Skybox connection is hard-wired directly into the the BT linebox ?

I believe it ios hardwires yes, if not i don't know, all I know is that the Sky satelite is linked in with the phone socket and that you CANNOT see the cable from the outside of the wall.

Right thats it! Im so annoyed now! EVERY BLOODY TIME AN INCOMING OR OUTGOING CALL IS STARTED THE INTERNET DISCONNECTS! YOU IDIOTS THERE AT Orange AM I GETTING THROUGH TO YOU?!?!? Fact is... It could be any number of problems.. Ranging from a line fault.. To filters... You can't immediately blame Orange for something simply because "It's Orange"...

And i know you choose to help or not, but the simple fact is... IT IS Orange! For example. Look at the top left of this website. It places Orange at the bottom for broadband ISP's

If you're not getting what you pay for within a month you can ask for a MAC Code from what i've read around this website.. I've had my Orange Contract for coming up to 9 months now.. Not had a single problem with it.. So maybe they just don't like your house. Maybe a new ISP is best for you..
If the dont like my house then why (only about half a mile away is my friends Orange Livebox (older version) working PERFECTLY?
Oh and one last thing. The filter setup as it told me to in the book is correct. And after that failed with broadband I tried sombody elses suggesdtion... that failed...
I have had my filters tested, they came through with no failures. So... why is this...... Explain...... And I am 'not aloud' to get anew ISP as my Mum is being a retard again (as usual) and saying its perfectly fine when infact she knows its not.
I would prefer to go with PlusNet or Sky. But no she had to go with Orange because they offered her 6 months free... Even hough we got that with Sk anyway... And its cheaper on Sky with better reliability!
