In the last half hour this change has come along. Have they gone mad?! Bad news is the speeds have done down a fraction. Still, if it's stable...Roll on 24Mb!

The Livebox rebooted last night and the + is has now gone? But the speed has increased!

Yup, been at my max speed for a week now n the first time in welll... years!!!

I think Orange had to increase the speed now as OfCom are whipping them with new laws or somthing

At the moment yes, but BT are gradually rolling out their new 21CN to all exchanges over the next few years, which will be ADSL2+.

Everyone on this forum seem to always use the www.speedtest.net tester which I've found produces mixed results and will sometimes give me 10+mb speeds, I think the 'think broadband' and 'bbmax' testers are a lot better and give more consistant reults, what do you guys think?

I find the thinkbroadband and DSLZoneUK are consistant
