Hi. After rather poor service from Orange I managed to convince my father to cancel his contract and switch to Sky. After a few months he's now received a jiffy bag requesting the return of his livebox. Fair enough. He's got the box and power adapter but what else do Orange want. I'm not really sure if he's still got the packaging, manuals, CD (was there even an install CD?), etc. He could probably rustle up a couple of ADSL filters somewhere though. If this was suitably packaged up I would have thought it would satisfy Orange, but does anyone have any experience to the contrary?
i received my jiffy bag today so I want to know the same answer.
I have the Livebox itself, the box it came in, the two filters and...erm.. that's about it
The way I feel about Orange at the moment if they don't think that's enough then they can take me to court,
To rub salt into the wound Orange have also tried to deliver a new router today, and will try to redeliver tomorrow. Crazy given that I moved to Sky two months ago and they've just sent me the pouch to return my old router.
Errrm.. From what i remember when we signed up.. the contents of the stuff Orange want back is.. Livebox, Filters, Installation Disc [ Try your coffee table.. You might've been using it as a coaster ] Power Adapter.. Can't see them wanting much more back than that.. I doubt they would want the RJ45 [ethernet] back.. Maybe colour in the manuals and send those back too.. But i really think it's just the Livebox..
Ha. I think I get the idea. The way we feel about Orange BB azasmith's suggestion is very tempting ... I wonder how many surprises they do actually get in their bags.
