I currently have a PC (Vista) and a laptop (XP) connected to my livebox. Both are wired. When I'm using one for any amount of time the connection to the other drops. I then have to unplug the livebox for a couple of minutes and start over.
It doesn't matter which one I'm using. The problems the same. This is now happening everyday and is very frustrating. The test says that there is no network connection, however both computers can still print to the same printer.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appeciated.

Guessing you have one in the Yellow Ethernet and one in the Red...
The recent firmware upgrade put one of the ports as the Digital TV thing.. Try switching that off by going to 192.168.1.1 and signing in
YOu'll see this
Digital TV Automatic Change
Click change.. And go to disable.. See if that solves your issue..
Sorry to seem like a complete idiot, but what do you mean by go to 192.168.1.1 and sign in?
Thanks
Ahh sorry, should of been clearer..
192.168.1.1 is your routers IP address.. To access this open up Internet Explorer or Firefox.. Whatever you use.. And click the adress bar at the top..
I followed your instructions and I was sure it was working however the connection has started to drop again. I checked to make sure it was still disabled and it was.
