I recently moved back home from the army where i was on BT broadband paying for upto 8mb. i was getting 6 constantly so there was no worries. When i moved back home the problems started. My mam got a free laptop when she purchased Orange broadband. SIGH i know, but when i conencted my pc to it i was getting download speeds around 400kbps which i happy with. Until 2 days later when it went down to 100kbps and it keeps disconencting every 20 mins or so. Now to this date 25th March im still paying for 8mb broadband but im getting speeds less than 512kbps!! i phoned Orange and got put through to a call center in india which they was rude because i had to repeat myself about 100 times. and im not thick with a pc as i built them so why every time do you get the same f**** answers.. LINE CHECK takes 6 months and still no joy. or maybe the best one ' Is the filter plugged into the wall' or 'Firewall? or is the PC TURNED ON.. who employs these people!!!

Any ideas guys as ive had about as much as i can cope with Orange broadband what aload of s**t*.
Appears to be an ADSL max connection so it's very likely it's profile related. Run this speedtest instead and post the results.

That speedtester website is offline.
When you run the speed test it says internal server error.
