<Livebox Issues? ~ Trouble connecting ipod Touch via livebox - Help please.

Just bought an ipod Touch and am trying to access internet. The Livebox comes up but says "Unable to join the network LiveboxB788".
What do I do next? Have gone into the settings where it asks for IP address, etc, and have entered these in. Do not know what to put for search domains though?
You should just need to select the livebox,
enter the key from the sticker 0-9 A-F no spaces capitals only,
press the 1 button on the livebox,
initiate the connection and it should go through.
Usually there's no need to set the IP's and DNS, etc.
