Hi, having just tested my broadband speed today I see that I am getting a speed test of around 512Kbps which at a price off £14.99 seems a bit ottt ??!! have been with Orange since there wanadoo days and to be fair have not had that much bother with them but as you know times change and well I just think it is time for a change and seeing as you can get much more for your £15 a month gues now is the time !!
so okay on the Orange starter package - which was carried over from wanadoo anyone any ideas if I am tied into a conract with them ?? if I do leave any idaes how long you are talking about in getting the migration code from Orange and does it get sent to you or what ??
any advice would be greatly received as to be honest am a little lost by it all !!

Hi
By law they have to provide you with a valid MAC code within 5 working days of requesting it wether your in contract or not, any monies owed is dealt with seperately, they probably won't tell you that though, if you request a MAC code make them aware that you know about the MAC rules.
I think they email the MAC to you if i'm wrong i'm sure someone will put you right, a friend of mine recently requested a MAC off BT Broadband he refused a retention offer so they gave it to him over the phone immediately, Orange are renowned for fobbing people off with excuses to avoid handing one over.
Good Luck
