been using red ethernet port for main pc for ages, not sure if there was a livebox update recently... but since then that port now seems broken, all i get is 'limited or no connectivity.
connects fine still using yellow port.
Also the config pages for the router are extremely slow loading.

What you've reported is rather odd. The new Livebox firmware sets the yellow port to digital TV only by default - it won't work with a computer unless you disable digital TV (My Services > Digital TV). Maybe your ports have been labelled back-to-front?!

Thats wrong, it sets it to an automatic system so should work with the TV service or a PC as needed.

i did try disabling the digital tv thing anyway but it had no effect.
and oddly a while after that, my ports seem to have changed over now as my yellow port has now died and im using the red port again now
What on earth, is my livebox dying? lol
