Glad to find this site. Just thought I would share my experience with Orange.
I have had Orange for yonks now, but i didnt use the Livebox at first as i have a Netgear Router which was working fine. Then some Orange sales guy calls and tells me about the FREEFONE to anywhere in the world and to Orange mobiles. As i work from home this was invaluable and the phone bill to my kids friends decreased by about 95%. Excellent deal. The quality is sometimes not too good but its acceptable. I call all over the world for free and it has saved me hundreds of pounds.
I had to connect the Livebox to the internet then connect my Netgear to the Livebox so i can have 3 hardwired consoles. Had to jiggle the settings a bit but it works ok.
I have had the PPP server down issue which took 6 bloody weeks to resolve.!!! I only got thru to Middlesbrough when i demanded my MAC code from the guy in India. During this downtime i actually installed Sky broadband on my other line. Which they did for free when i told them my problem.
X-Box works ok but have trouble connecting to games sometimes, probably due to my connection speed.
Reasonably happy with Orange, except when it goes down.
