Around 9 'ish my connection went and I can't get back on (this is via good old dial up). Anyone else?

Error 718: The connection was terminated because the remote computer did not respond in a timely manner.

I know people in Congresbury and Dundry have problems as well with Briadband, maybe there are big problems in and around Bristol. OK in somerset at present though ! Touch wood.

I'm in Kent and my connection went down at the same time - got on to them fairly quickly but they were no help.

Had to go out and when I got back tried ringing them again and after being cut off several times I was in the queue for 25 minutes before giving up.

Am also currently on dial-up. Get the same 0718 error message.

Spoke to a mate who also has Orange and he's in the same boat.

I'm on Downend exchange and have had problems since 10am when I fired up laptop.

I had an internet connection according to the router but nothing would load not even OE.

I shut down laptop several times then 10 mins ago everything loaded up OK.

The same blip affects Kent and South Gloucestershire but, apparently, no other areas ?

I'm not even going to attempt to fathom that one !!!!

No BB this morning... same on Sunday last... and a few Saturdays ago.

Decided Three strikes and you're out, so have now written to Orange cancelling my account.

As a result this'll be my only post to orangeproblems.co.uk!

All I would add is that if Orange communicated better with customers - i.e., made it very clear on their website/customer services phone line, that they have technical faults affecting parts/whole of the country then I might feel a bit better.

But all I get when I call is a 12 year old girl telling me that they're experiencing a high number of calls... and saying if my call is urgent I'll be answered after some time. Then I get cut off.

Well two can play at that game.

Goodbye Orange, thank you for trying.
