I am NOT a technically minded person so please forgive my ignorance regarding broadband technology.
I had an email on the 12th Feb telling me that Orange were going to increase my speed to "up to 8mb" on Feb 18th. (ha ha it is 1.6 this afternoon). I then had an email on the 5th March telling me this was now complete.
Please could someone tell me whether this work was in fact them doing this LLU thing to my exchange.?? (I am in the Long Eaton exchange - EMLONGE)
Ever since I keep having problems with my modem detecting ADSL but being unable to synchronise with the local exchange. Also my emails have not been getting to some people even though they are showing in my sent items, and I leep getting the "No Socket" error message 10061 number 0x800CCC0E.
Please can someone give me advice, I run my business from home and several cutomers have not got back to me when I would have expected them to and it all looks so unprofessional to chase them as I don't know if they are choosing not to respond to me or whether they never got my emails.
