I'll put my hands up and admit that I am quite excited about Orange's so-called BT Vision similar package. All the press releases say that they are due to release it by the end of the year? The only problem I have is, there is only 6 weeks left of the year and there is no advertising, no sign of it on Orange.co.uk.
I will be happy to sign up (I may kick myself for it eventualyl!) but where and when?????

It won't work: I've been using the BBC's iPlayer, and only 1 or two programmes a day, plus normal internet use have taken me through Orange's Fair Use Policy limit (although no exact numerical limit is given anywhere on their site) and within a week of a warning letter I'm now restricted to a 512k line 24 hours a day, making even Youtube unwatchable. Unless Orange are realistic about the amount of bandwith TV (and other everyday net services) take, they will be losing a lot of customers
I work for Orange and can categorically say that the service will not be rolling out next month, you may be confused with the 'Autumn' release date, trials are currently still going on and the service is being generally well received, although their have been some slight teething problems (as with any new service) currently the service will only work in LLU enabled area's with people on a speed of at least 4.5mb. You can register your interest in the trial by going to http://www1.orange.co.uk/digitaltv

Hold On! Why only LLU? When I called Orange a few months ago to switch to Home Max, on a new 18 month contract, I was told then it would work "the same as BT Vision with an Orange twist!" and since I get 5.5mb then it won't be a problem. Now I hear that it is LLU only and since we are in the rural Highlands of Scotland, the London 2012 Olympics will be finished by the time we get LLU up here.
