Couldn't get speeds above 3.5MB, e-mailed Orange, a couple of days after they e-mail me back with some things to try but i test my speed before i try any of these and it's gone up to 4MB-4.1MB?!! I'm I being capped and they've put me up a bit to keep me happy or what.
I did do the wire thingy a few days before though when you just leave in 2 + 5 in the main BT socket, but speed tests after this showed the same 3.5MB, could this still have affected it?

Many thanks, karl.
That's the sort of increase you normally see.
It's never a massive improvement unless your house is big with many extension boxes.
But usually 0.5 to 1Mb is achieved.
Yeah thanks, I don't have any extension boxes. Orange customer support have said they can't help me any more and that i should phone the TS guys for a line test, I asked them If the TS have their own e-mail, no reply yet.
The only things i havn't tried that they suggested are a factory reset on the Livebox and setting IE7 to it's defaults, but i'm reluctant to do these things incase i mess something up.
Do you know if doing a factory reset on the Livebox will mess any settings up? I don't want to be ringing Orange again when it stops working or my second line packs in!
