Hello,
I've been having the same problems as described by everyone else but i'm a bit of a newie and not sure how to change to open DNS as suggested?
I have a d link router and accessed DNS on the set up page and my options were to select 'use user discovered DNS' which i did and then i put in the two DNS server address which were suggested but i have had no luck!
Sorry for being a bit of an idot but can anyone help me?
Thanks
Network Connections > right click on the connection icon > click Properties > scroll down to TCP/IP > highlight and click Properties > click "use following DNS server addresses" > Preferred = 208.67.222.222, Alternate = 208.67.220.220

Hi mikeya16
If it had no effect by configuring OpenDNS on your PC then it probably won't on your Livebox either, after doing it on your PC type anything in the main address bar in your browser if you see results from OpenDNS you know you have configured it right, then if your having the same problem ide leave well alone its probably a fault at Orange side.
Im sure one of the other regs on here will tell you how to change DNS settings on the Livebox at some point i can't advise as ive never used one.
Good Luck

Bring up Internet explorer and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1
this will bring up your inventel screen to give you access to your live box.
Click the Orange coloured line to get access to your livebox, a pop up should appear and ask for an username & password, they should be "admin" and "admin" (both lowercase and no " , if you changed yours sometime in the past, enter what ever you changed them to)
Click on "My services" then "Internet"
Under "internet connection state" click the "disconnect" button and wait a min or so.....
Now press "connect" and your live box will refresh it's IP address and off you go !!
I did it twice before it worked for me......
I can now waste my precious time again Playing TF2 and shouting at my monitor when I'm being critted all over again !!

Hello all,
We thought we would let you know that we did indeed try to find out for you what the cause of your email and website issues were from Thursday 24th January to Monday 28th January 2007.
In fact, we got in touch with a number of people and we got a response from Orange via ISPreview UK :
"We can confirm that Orange Broadband customers experienced difficulty accessing Orange email addresses and some websites over the weekend (26 - 27 January 2008). This was due to a technical issue with a third party supplier. Engineers worked hard to resolve the problem and full service has now been restored. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
