lol i feel ur pain but i just fixed mine. If ur using livebox go to the configuration settings user n pass is admin admin then go to advanced - router and turn DMZ on. then reboot and try it, if that dont work (it didnt for me) go back into configuration and it shud say internet enabled under my services, click the change option and disconnect ur live box then wait one minute and click connect live box (do all of this in the configuration site which is http://configuration.adsl)
hope it sorts you out ive been reading these posts trying to get answers n now i got mine workign i registered here to help others.
Lol mmoore u discovered this problem same time as me and i thought we were only ppl experiencing it too but if u do that it shud sort u out, when i disconnected the livebox thru the configuration settings (not literally disconnecting it from socket) and then reconnected it i had a new ip which may be using a different network path not the one which is having server problems. Let me know if this helps, if not i have no idea
Thanks for the advice and it worked
Halifax bank new that Orange/wanadoo had a problem and read a prepared statement Needless to say Orange treated the problems as new and isolated
I have tweaked my DNS settings to use another ISP and that makes no difference - I think DNS is hierarchical so Orange may well pass your DNS lookup to some other domain that is having a problem.
I got through toan Orange 'customer service' helpline after waiting for ONE HOUR listening to their music to be told that I needed to call technical help at 50p per minute. THIS IS THEIR PROBLEM - why should I pay to notify them of a problem?

TRY (OPENDNS) (just google their site and follow instructions for your computer)
I phoned Orange and was told servers would be down for 15 hours, that was 24 hours ago. opendns is free and it solved the problem on both my laptops vista and xp, perhaps Orange should go there.
hope this helps
