I wouldn't change too much yet Tango1 my cousin is still with Orange and for the last few days every one of my emails to her has been returned hers is a wanadoo.co.uk address she also can't send emails if you havn't changed anything and all of a sudden started playing up its unlikely that its your set up.

My problem is not that I am unable to send or receive emails. I can receive, but when it comes to sending it times out when authorising my account and password. It does eventually arrive, but it takes several minutes. the latest suggestion from Orange is to reinstall XP. I do not think so.
Reinstall XP, well thats the final straw, I thought my help from them with their "generic e-mail answers" which answer none of my questions was bad.
I've tried to explain to them that I have 2 affected computers, a laptop and desktop. One running Vista, the other XP. I have the same problems on each computer sending and receiving, using outlook and Vista's Windows Mail. It really cant be the software, although what is the same on each is McAfee ??

Yep, the web mail server is down now, are they still gonna blame the blackberries and tell us to reinstall our operating systems ?

hi all am new here had to go on neighbours comp to verify to get on site.I cant even access webmail all i get is wassup.orange.co.uk also can't access lots of my usual websites, is it Orange with prob.
Had exactly the same problem last week - was unable to receive any emails via Outlook Express though could send and no problem using webmai. Spent more than an hour talking to friendly man in India who eventually admitted he had no idea what to try next apart from my talking to Microsoft. Before I did that I changed my password and suddenly all was OK again- took me about 5 minutes on the Orange website to work out how to change the password but I did do it eventually.
Only problem now after a week away - Outlook Express Ok but completely unable to get onto my webmail. Put in my emailaddress and password - wait - oops cannot find server. I Can get in via Bluetooth and my phone. Now don't know if it is my router which is playing up or Orange.
