A few weeks ago I was having problems loading up sites and thanks to this amazing forum discovered that I was having MTU problems. I managed to fix it with the help of DrTCP.

However, I've now got an Ipod Touch which is also having the same issue. I know its down to my MTU settings but I don't know how to fix it.
How do I go about changing MTU settings for an Ipod Touch bearing in mind I cant download Dr TCP on it??
Is it possible to just change setings on my D-Link router to fix this problem once and for all?
Any advice would be greatfully appreciated because this MTU business is driving me crazy.

Hi fernando999
Log into your router click on the WAN button on left menu (you might have to click on "manually configure" first there you should see MTU and a value if its not 1500 put it in click apply you might lose connection for a nano second while it does the change.
Its been a long time since i used a D-Link router so it might be slightly different now but in general similar.
I always have my router s MTU at 1500 and my PC's at the ISP's recommendation or whatever value works best after a bit of tweaking.
Good Luck
