Help. I'm on Windows 98 & hasvve just fixed connection problems. But during this time I've managed to lose the ability to save my Dial Up passowrd. I go into Internet Properties, Connections & finally Settings, rthe password is blank. I type in the correct password and press OK. When I re-enter Settings the password is blank again. I know I'm entering the correct password as I type it in when connecting.
Has anyone any ideas what I have to do as I'm getting fed up having to enter my password every time I connect to the net
Start off being disconnected.
Go into the control panel and then dialup networking. Double click the speedtouch item or whatever it happens to be called so it brings up the connection box. There should be a save password tick box. Tick it, enter your password and see if that keeps it saved.
