Ok so today the internet again randomly goes off.. normally a computer restart and factory reset of the livebox and/or connection of other modem fixes the trick.. shouldnt even have to do that! But today even all that didnt work.
The status switches continuously from 'sync in progress' and 'ppp in progress' and connects for a second, then returns to the reptitive cycle. If i connect with my old alcatel speedtouch, it connects but 10 mins maximum...
i dont normally get the repetitive ppp/sync thing so im wonderin if its somethin not to with Orange (as if)
That points to something else as the cause then, either something over how it's setup there, the line itself or at the exchange.
Try connecting to your main phone socket, test socket if possible, without anything else, if it continues then contact Orange as there will need to be other checks done to look for the problem.
