After having to wipe my HDD and re install XP, i went to install the live box cd and seem to of misplaced it, but did not bother me so much at the time as i just pluged the live box in and i was up and running again without having the cd, but now my daughter has a laptop and wants it wireless but can't do that without the cd, but saying that from over posts i have read that could still be a problem anyway, but is there anywhere i can download the live box cd of the net ??, looked for half a day now but can't find anywhere.
any help would be great..
If the laptop has wireless built in then there's no need for the CD.
Turn on the wireless and scan for networks,
Your find your livebox (name on it's underside),
Click connect and enter the key from the sticker on the box,
0-9, A-F, capitals only, no spaces,
Put it in twice as needed but then press the 1 button on the livebox so the antenna light is flashing,
Only then click connect and it should be up and running after a few seconds.
Yes on the sticker on the underside of the livebox, used to be marked WEP Key but these days is often marked Security Key. Copy it exactly but without the spaces, they're just there to make it easier to read.
