Help! I've had the darn Livebox for about 3 months but still cant get wireless. Ornage helpline(!) insisted my settings were fine, so have been in contact with Belkin who have actually been very helpful in trying to get the adapter to work with Livebox. However, still nothing happens. I have no idea what any of the technology means, so could someone please tell me in plain English just how to get them to work together? Have set up the Livebox 6 times and the adapter about 3 times, trying to follow instructions. At the moment the adapter is disabled because I've just lost the plot completely. Would give up, but it annoys me to be paying for something I'm not getting!

UNABLE TO CONNECT WITH WIRELESS:
Are you pressing Button 1 on Livebox to put it into pairing mode?
Press Button 1 on Livebox so the wifi light flashes. This puts livebox into pairing mode and you have 10 minutes to try and connect your wireless device . This only needs to be done once and then you should be able to connect every time .
I had to change security on Livebox to WEP only.
WEP key is case sensitive.
If security is an issue WPA is more secure, try WPA only.
You could also try Changing the channel. One recommended to try is channel 9. Try this first if you can not see the Livebox at all.
Another issue is if there are 2 programmes on the computer that you are trying to connect trying to control the wireless. Turn off the programme that came with the wireless card and use XP to control the connection.
