Sorry if this has come up before but a search does not help.
Orange have just "upgraded" from dial up to their 2mb package. However, when I try and use Orange Broadband with Firefox (which is so much better than MS Explorer), I just get the "please update your connection settings" page. Following the instructions does nothing.
Phoning Orange, all they can say is they only support Explorer and admit there are problems with using Firefox.
Is this right, or is there anything I can do to my Firefox settings to get me running with my preferred browser?
Try going through internet options in the control panel and into the connections tab. If you're using a USB modem there should be a listing in there it added, if not then you want it set to never dial a connection.
