Last month i received a letter explaining that despite previous letters I had gone over the Fair usage policy of 40GB per month and my account was being terminated.
Firstly this was the only letter I had from Orange except a leaflet about Orange wednesdays
and secondly the quoted my usage as 42GB!!!
I called cust services and was told that whilst I should have got 2 warning letters first and they apologised they told me there was nothing they could do to stop the termination.
After an hour on the phone being charged on my mobile as my Orange line is such poor quality i was informed tha it would forwarded to an escalation team at head office and someone would call be back the following day.
Next day and no phone call so I have to call again and explain the situation to yet another mindless Orange drone! I was again informed that this is a common problem that they working to resolve however there was nothing that could be done to stop my termination.
I was even told I could disconnect from Orange wait 10 days and then sign up again if i waned to !
well the day of disconnection came and i was still online ( was told that all the disconnetion does is delete you username and password from the system which you only need when you sign in to BB as my router is always on his made no differnec eto me and that i may get upto 10 days extra service)
anyways 10 days later and im still online soemone calls from Orange to apologise and say that the termination wasnt going to happen. GREAT a result!
A few days later and another call, sorry you are being cut off would you like your MAC code??
after a nother hour arguing I hung up.
he line wen dead about 18 days after they said it would and i received a pre-paid bag to return the livebox (piece of crap!) which i did.
So im back to BT broadband Orange screwed me around no end and was finally topped off the other day when Orange customer services called me to see if i was happy with the service i was receiving!!!! LOL
Be warned get away from Orange BB BUNCH OF MONKEYS
