10 day training does not apply to LLU lines but I would give it a couple of days to be sure as it potentially could be lag from the line change to updating the speed to the correct levels.
If its 2272, it's probably the same speed cap a lot of LLU customers are put on. You could ask for this to be increased, but chances are the line will be unstable
Nice to hear you got it sorted at last you would think by now they would inform their customers of what needs to be adjusted by now.
These darned Orange cowboys & Indians have struck again!
After a week on an MTU of 1440, my internet died on the Sunday night. I second guessed an LLU settings change and YES, Orange changed my settings to a new MTU of 1492.
I Re-set all the PC's and laptops and away we surf as a family for a day or two, until the now, regular & persistent dropping out of a service which continually requires rebooting my Router or reconnecting the Old Speedtouch USB modem. When working, pages load more slowly than before the LLU.
So my fellow broadbanders, please can you suggest a reliable ISP, with good speed (4mb+). I am not in a cable area and not interested in gimmicky offers on sub-standard hardware/package deals - just a plain vanilla, reliable ADSL service!
PS anyone noticed that the Orange cowboys USED to invoice from Madiera AND charge VAT (presumably UK at 17.5%); which was non-refundable either to the bill payer (me and you) and (I assume) to HM Govt, as this month the invoice address is now St.Albans with a UK VAT code!
