It's rumoured that it will all be 02 by early next year so if you manage to join before then you will be able to take advantage of Be's 24 megs packages also them packages are only a 3 month contract.
Just hope it don't go downhill from there but 02 have stated they wont be going down the "free" route as you pay for what u get only time will tell.

I've been put off now - it's not a 3 month contract, but 3 months notice in writing to cancel

For our Be unlimited and Be pro products, there is no contractual period, we simply ask for 3 months notice in writing to cancel your contract without incurring any additional cancellation charges.
If you choose Be Value, your initial contract period is 1 year. After the first year, we simply ask for 1 months notice in writing to cancel your contract without incurring any additional cancellation charges.

Yes its a 3 month contract always has been you can either see out the 3 month contract or pay £40 to leave ASAP Be Value is 1 year contract if you want to leave you can upgrade to Be Unlimited and do the same as above they have said thats fine to do that downgrades/upgrades are free, its still better than 12/18/24 month contract with no get out and pay full term, however 02 packages are all 12 months and free support with a deal before end of jan 08 Here
