I bought a new pc with Vista last week. Ever since my download speeds have increased dramatically.

Downloading quicktime last night I was getting 3.5mbps(rather than the normal (230kbps). What's with that. I am not complaining, but what the hell happened!

(note I am refering to actual download speeds, not my connection speed)
