My contract runs out this month so i rang them yesterday and requested my MAC code in a very nice and chilled manner. They asked me why was i leaving Orange, had i found another cheaper ISP. I didn't want to hurt their feelings even after all the grief they have caused me so i said yes i've found someone cheaper. They said, okay your on the £19 a month broadband package now and what we will do is keep you on the same package but only charge you £10 a month. I said to be honest with you it's nothing to do with the price, i've had a lot of problems with my broadband, i've had a fault on my line since April that has never been solved and had problems with my broadband keep cutting off for days on end. The woman on the phone just said ok you should have your MAC code within 5 days. Lets hope everything goes to plan and i can migrate to *Be*.

There are some great providers out there. I have found Idnet to be brilliant. Do yourself a favour though. Cancel your DD after migration and send a recorded delivery letter to Orange confirming your migration date otherwise that thieving bunch of low life will most likely keep taking your money.
I went for the Be* Unlimited package but there is no way i can get 24meg broadband where i am. So i've sent a ticket off and downgraded to Be* value for £14 a month which is still a fantastic package. I just use web mail so no need to change anything.
